This year more than 1.8 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer and less than 1% will be treated with proton therapy. Building awareness for this advanced cancer therapy was vital for those patients that required this form of treatment. While working for Provision Health Care, the team developed the Cancer Is… campaign. It emphasizes the benefit of the non-invasive nature of proton therapy while recognizing the pain and struggles cancer can bring to the individual. With other therapies, the treatment can be worse than the cancer itself.
